Tom Brady and the red-hot New England Patriots take on a familiar foe this Sunday in Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills Sunday on CBS, 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.

Everyone knows Bill Belichick and Rex Ryan don’t like each other. The Patriots coach probably thinks the Bills coach is a blowhard and Belichick would clearly enjoy defeating Ryan.

Patriots vs. Steelers odds: Pittsburgh set as Week 7 home underdog against New England

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 10-5 straight up and 11-2-2 against the spread in their last 15 games as a home underdog. The Steelers hope to enjoy more success as a home underdog this Sunday hosting the New England Patriots.

Patriots Game

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

When: Sunday, Oct. 23, 4:25 p.m. ET

Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh

Betting Line / Total: New England -7.5 / 45.5 Points

Trend: The total has gone UNDER in eight of the Steelers’ last 10 games.

Trend: The Patriots are 11-1 SU in their last 12 games in October.

Live Stream: Watch NFL HD Stream Here

Pittsburgh is a 7.5-point home underdog at Heinz Field at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This is the first time in 2016 that the Steelers have been a betting underdog.

Through the first six games of the regular season, Pittsburgh has looked good in its four wins and awful in its two losses. The Steelers are 4-0 ATS in their wins with an average margin of victory of 19.3 points per game, but put up total dud performances in road losses of 34-3 in Philadelphia and 30-15 to Miami.

The Miami loss last week was particularly bad in that the Steelers also lost Ben Roethlisberger to a torn meniscus. Roethlisberger isn’t expected to miss too much time, but he will be out in favor of Landry Jones this week.

The Steelers haven’t had much success against the Patriots over the last 18 years with a 3-9 SU and 3-8-1 ATS record in their last 12 games against New England per the OddsShark NFL Database.

After getting off to a slow start in the first quarter, the New England Patriots found their groove and blew the Cincinnati Bengals away 35-17 last Sunday. Tom Brady now owns a passer rating of 135.5 with six touchdown passes and no interceptions in his first two games back from suspension.

The Patriots have the best record in the AFC at 5-1 SU and ATS, and a road win this week would put New England firmly in the driver’s seat for the conference’s top seed. New England is 11-1 in its last 12 games played in October.

Sunday’s total is set at 45.5 points. The OVER is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings between Pittsburgh and New England.

With Roethlisberger healthy, this game would have all of the makings of a shootout. But with Jones under center, Pittsburgh’s defense is going to have to step up big against the Patriots’ high-powered offense to keep this game close.

Bengals vs Patriots live stream: How to watch online

With the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the New England Patriots on Sunday in Foxborough, here is all the information you need on how to watch. Sunday marks the sixth game for each of these AFC foes. The Bengals are in need of a resurgence this year and a win over the Patriots could just do the trick. Of course, it won’t be easy against the Pats, as they’re flying high at 4-1 entering Week 6.

patriots game

Despite quarterback Andy Dalton throwing for the third-most yards in the NFL thus far, the Bengals’ offense has struggled as a unit to score enough points to keep them in games.

The Bengals’ defense hasn’t been able to put together four quarters of quality football, something they’ll need to do against the Patriots. New England will take advantage of every sloppy mistake their opponents make, including missed tackles and mental errors. In order to preserve a victory, the Bengals must be crisp on defense.

Cincinnati must apply some sort of pressure on Brady without having to blitz him every down. The problem is that Brady gets the ball out so quickly it may not matter. If the Bengals win this one, they must control the time of possession and get Dalton in a heavy flow early on. They also must keep New England out of the end-zone, limiting them to field goals once they are inside the 20’s.

Here’s the live stream info for the game:

Date: Sunday, October 16th

Time:1:00 EST

Location: Foxborough, MA

Venue: Gillette Stadium

TV Info: CBS

Since losing free safety Reggie Nelson agency, the Bengals’ secondary has taken a step back from last year. Middle linebackers Vontaze Burfict and Karlos Dansby (who was thought to be an upgrade) have struggled in coverage this year.

The Patriots have two elite tight ends in Martellus Bennett and Rob Gronkowski who will chew up the middle of the field against the Bengals. It won’t be easy to stop either one of them.

At home, the Patriots are 8.5 point favorites. That’s a pretty big line even considering the rough start it’s been for Cincinnati thus far. We will see how the Bengals rebound in Week 6 after losing in a blowout last week at Dallas.

Bills vs Patriots Preview: How to watch online

The biggest and most pressing storyline for this one throughout the week will be who will start under center for New England in this game. But will it matter? Couldn’t they just throw out receiver Julian Edelman, a former college quarterback at Kent State and come out with the win? Well, hold on a minute. Let’s remember this is Rex Ryan versus Bill Belichick, it’s not just any matchup for Ryan.

patriots football

Most notably, Ryan had early success against Belichick’s Patriots. His Jets upset the Patriots in the 2010 AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs, but his early success has been overshadowed by losses like this one back in 2012 on Thanksgiving Night.

Date: October 2nd, 2016

Location: Foxborough, NE

Venue: Gillette Stadium

TV Info: CBS

Sorry Mark Sanchez, you’ll never be able to live that one down.

Back to this game and Ryan. He made it loud and clear this week that he doesn’t care who’s at quarterback for the Patriots.

“I can sit back and say I don’t care who plays quarterback, because [Tom] Brady ain’t,” Ryan said Sunday. “I don’t care who plays quarterback. Steve Grogan can play quarterback. If [Bill] Belichick’s playing quarterback, we’re coming after him, I promise you that,” Belichick said via ESPN.

Buffalo does have 10 sacks on 213 defensive snaps. Their 10 sacks is tied for third best in the NFL. New England has allowed five sacks on 87 pass attempts for a sack percentage of 5.4%. Bills OLB, Jerry Hughes already has three sacks and an additional five QB hurries this season. He’s regaining his form from his 2013 and 2014 seasons where he put up 10 sacks each year.

Regardless of who’s at quarterback, they’ll have to deal with the same pressure Cardinals quarterback, Carson Palmer faced all day on Sunday.

Saints vs Patriots 2016 online streaming: Time, TV schedule and how to watch live

Saints vs Patriots: The New England Patriots will be forced to play without Tom Brady for the first four weeks of the NFL season. So it only makes sense that they’ll start the preseason without him, too. According to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, Brady won’t play a single snap against the New Orleans Saints Thursday. That was also the plan heading into last year’s preseason opener, but Brady wound up starting the contest.

patriots football

It’s been a turbulent off season for the four-time Super Bowl champion, who wasn’t able to stave off serving his Deflate Gate suspension like he did the previous year. A federal appeals court reinstated Brady’s four-game ban in late April and rejected to rehear his case a couple of months later. In a July Facebook post, Brady announced he would no longer continue his legal fight.

“It has been a challenging 18 months and I have made the difficult decision to no longer proceed with the legal process,” he said. “I’m going to work hard to be the best player I can be for the New England Patriots and I look forward to having the opportunity to return to the field this fall.”

With Brady on the bench for the first quarter of the schedule, third-year backup Jimmy Garoppolo will stand under center when the Patriots start their season against the Arizona Cardinals Sept. 11. Garoppolo, 24, is largely an unknown commodity. He put up monstrous numbers at Eastern Illinois University, but he’s only thrown 31 passes in his NFL career.

While Brady is out of action, Garoppolo will have to find a way to jell with Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski. There haven’t been any injury concerns with Gronkowski this summer, but the same can’t be said for Edelman. He left practice Tuesday with a left foot injury, which is concerning given the fact he’s undergone two operations on that foot over the last year. Edelman returned to practice Wednesday, but he isn’t expected to play Thursday. Gronkowski, Dion Lewis and Danny Amendola likely won’t step onto the field, either.

On the other side, Saints quarterback Drew Brees says he expects to play one series. Brees, 37, has been in the midst of a contract dispute with the team since the end of last season. It was reported in December the Saints were upset that Brees, who’s entering the final year of his deal, opted to maximize his contract instead of seeking a hometown discount. The star quarterback will command a whopping $30 million cap hit this season.

But as of late July, Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said no progress was being made on negotiations with Brees. The veteran QB is often credited with revitalizing the Saints franchise after Hurricane Katrina, making eight Pro Bowls with the team and winning the Super Bowl in 2009.

Last season, New Orleans finished 7-9 for the second consecutive year. Despite that, head coach Sean Payton still signed a $45 million contract extension earlier this year.

Payton is set to remain in New Orleans for the long haul, and now the question is whether Brees will join him. That inquiry won’t be answered Thursday, but it will be Saints fans’ first opportunity to watch Brees in action –– even if it is only for a series.

The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The Patriots are also headquartered at Gillette Stadium.

Patriots Football

An original member of the American Football League (AFL), the Patriots joined the NFL in the 1970 merger of the two leagues. The team changed its name from the original Boston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971. The Patriots played their home games at Foxboro Stadium from 1971 to 2001, then moved to Gillette Stadium at the start of the 2002 season. The Patriots’ rivalry with the New York Jets is considered one of the most bitter rivalries in the NFL.

The Patriots have appeared in the Super Bowl eight times in franchise history, six of them since the arrival of head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady in 2000. The Patriots have since become one of the most successful teams in NFL history, winning twelve AFC East titles in 14 seasons since 2001, without a losing season in that period. The Patriots have since set numerous notable records, including most wins in a ten-year period (126, in 2003–2012), an undefeated 16-game regular season in 2007, and the longest winning streak consisting of regular season and playoff games in NFL history (a 21-game streak from October 2003 to October 2004). The Patriots own the record for most Super Bowls reached by a head coach-quarterback tandem (six), as well as being the first tandem to win the Super Bowl 14 years after the first
